Metal Detecting Locations in Utah

I have compiled this list of schools in Utah to help metal detectorists research areas to metal detect where there is a likely chance of finding some old coins (old coins by Utah standards anyway). Many of these sites I have not visited. As a result, I am presenting information that I have come across but that may be outdated, i.e. I do not know if all of these schools still exist. Some may have been remodeled or torn down. However, I hope that this list will at least provide a starting point.

Also, not all of the addresses that I have come across mention the city. If this is the case and it is in the Salt Lake County area, I will put the city as Salt Lake City. You may have to do a little more digging to find the actual city. The numbers in parenthesis are the dates the buildings were constructed.
